PRODUCER: Eva López always had in mind to elaborate two different non expensive wines which express the Spanish wine soul reachable at the hand of all consumers with two of the most famous grapes varieties from Spain (Tempranillo and Garnacha). She toured all the vineyards at the East of Navarra Appellation and tasted hundreds of grapes to be certain that they had the quality of tannins they were looking for. Eva finally found it in the Villaje of San Martin de Unx, close the smaller villages of Olite and Pitilla. Those vines were property of Bodega Vega del Castillo. These grapes come from 3 different plots in Olite (388 meters), Pitillas (348 meters) and Ujue (815 meters).
Señorío de Aldaz wines are a barrel selection of the argilo-calcareous Garnacha and Tempranillo vineyards with a floral, red and black berry aromas, as well as balsamic notes with just a hint of spices and smoke. The palate is medium-bodied with ultra-fine tannins and a silky texture that makes it very pleasant and easy to drink.
