APPELLATION: Ribera del Duero DO.
VINIFICATION: Made with 100% Tempranillo. Selection of the best old vines sourced from lots older than 100 years. Maceration for 14 days in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 25-28 ºCn. Aged 24 months in French and American oak barrels and 6 months in the bottle.
TASTING NOTES: Bold berry and black-cherry aromas nicely assembled with oaky nuances like coconut scents. This has yet hard but manageable tannins that create a powerful but elegant mouthfeel. Flavors of coconut, vanilla, blackberry and chocolate finish with firm, dry tannins, fresh acidity and a lasting mocha flavor.
FOOD PAIRING: Perfect for game and red meats, roasts, fowl, rice with lobster and rice with vegetables.
